Mike Reyes
Mike Reyes is 34 years old and grew up in Deleon, Texas, where he attended high school.
He was part of a team that achieved an undefeated regular season for only the third time in the school’s history, finishing 10-0 in 2009.
Mike played at the varsity level for all four years, contributing on both the offensive and defensive lines. He earned All-State honors one year and received an All-State honorable mention the year before.
He received over 12 football scholarship offers from various schools across the United States, including Division 1 programs like TCU, New Mexico, Missouri, Rice University, Tarleton, and Dartmouth. Other offers came from schools like Howard Payne, McMurry, Hardin Simmons, and Blinn College. Mike was also invited to special football camps by Coach Bob Stoops at Oklahoma University and Mack Brown at the University of Texas. Additionally, he participated in an offensive line clinic hosted by Grey Ruegamer, who was then playing for the New York Giants and had won a Super Bowl with the team.
Mike was selected to represent the 2008 Team North Texas in the 9th Annual King Kamehameha Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.
