The Premier Youth Tackle Football League in Stephenville, Texas - Believe Athletics. Formerly Stephenville Youth Football League (SYFL).

Believe Athletics is a non-profit organization that provides youth in Stephenville with a challenging and rewarding experience in football. Founded in 2021, the league offers two teams for athletes in grades 3-6:

A team for third and fourth graders
A team for fifth and sixth graders

Although the teams are seperate, they work together every practice. We feel this builds a bond between the younger and older players. Consequently creating a smoother transition into the more advanced leagues. Both teams compete in the Texas Youth Football League (TYFL), a competitive league that offers a variety of opportunities for athletes to develop their skills and compete against other top teams in the region.

In addition to football, Believe Athletics also offers a variety of off-the-field programs, such as:

Character development workshops: These workshops teach athletes the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Nutrition and fitness classes: These classes teach athletes about healthy eating and exercise.
Academic support: This support helps athletes stay on track with their schoolwork.

These programs are designed to help athletes develop into well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success in both sports and life.

Our members and coaches are committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all athletes. The league’s coaches are experienced and dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football and instilling the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Everyone please help us welcome Simon Elliston. He’s a student at Stephenville High School and an aspiring sports photographer. He will be dropping by from time to time and working along side Rian to help us capture some images of our program. We had a great turnout and have the fresh recruits and veterans picked! There will be two 5/6 teams and one 3/4 team again this year, but our numbers are growing. Here is the first set of pictures of your 2024 Jackets! Get ready for a great season!

SHS Varsity Coaching Session

Our program is gaining allot of traction! Today our coaches had the opportunity to spend the evening with the SHS Varsity. We gained some valuable insight and cultivated some very valuable relationships. Enjoy some of the photos we took while we were there!

Tackle Tryouts!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!

Believe Athletics is hosting the SJ Tackle Football Tryouts for 3rd – 4th Grade and 5th-6th Grade this week!

Coaches will be at Henderson Junior High from 6:00PM to 7:30PM running boys through some of the drills to make sure they know what to expect and find the best the area has to offer. Not all will make it but we do our best to find a place for everyone willing to put in the work!
